Inside I took a few quick shots of some things that caught my eye.
But I pushed forward and bought my conduit,um,.. thingies!.This is an idea I’ve seen floating around the internets once or twice, so it’s nothing original, but I really like the way mine turned out..

These are going to have a special new home very soon, and I’ll let you see as soon as I actually get that project done. You know how it is!I love my front door.. OK, it’s not really the front door, it’s more of a side door.It leads from the mudroom into the kitchen.

But it’s the door we use most, anyway..I painted it red to cover up the weird green that was underneath.

I’ve enjoyed it, but thought I would never be able to make it work after Christmas.. Wrong!.
I think it looks just peachy..managed to pick up a thing or two about what works on Pinterest in terms of which posts are successful and which are not, though!.
The other day, I was thinking to myself that I should write down a list of reminders to myself about how I should be editing my photos for Pinterest, so that I can get the most out of each post. Then I thought, why not share the love?
So that’s where this post is coming from..TIP #1: Take your photos in portrait layout.
